I’ve created this space to share my thoughts, musings and creative works with an indefinite audience.  I enjoy expressing myself through writing and painting, as well as a variety of  other artistic media. Whether that defines me as an “artist” is up to interpretation.

Personally, I see art as something without boundaries that is often limited by the need we have to make sense of  our surroundings.  Art challenges the brain’s capacity for deciphering the stimuli in everyday life.  Art relies on our senses to provoke an emotional response.  Art is no stranger to debate or criticism, but never ceases to engage a reaction. Our understandings are sculpted in the shared sense of what it is to be distinctly human…

Now that we have that out of the way, it is my sincere hope that this blog will serve as an avenue for my own self-expression and development, as well as a medium for connecting to others on a deeper level.
